Οι υποψηφιότητες για τα Emmy: Σάρωσε το Severance

Η σειρά Severance ηγείται των υποψηφιοτήτων για τα Βραβεία Emmy 2025, οι οποίες ανακοινώθηκαν την Τρίτη. Η παραγωγή του Apple TV+ συγκέντρωσε συνολικά 27 υποψηφιότητες, συμπεριλαμβανομένης αυτής για Καλύτερη Δραματική Σειρά, όπου θα ανταγωνιστεί με τα Andor, The Diplomat, The Last of Us, Paradise, The Pitt, Slow Horses και The White Lotus.

Αμέσως μετά ακολουθεί το The Penguin με 24 υποψηφιότητες, ενώ τα The Studio και White Lotus απέσπασαν από 23 η καθεμία. Το The Last of Us συγκέντρωσε 16, τα Andor και Hacks από 14, και οι Adolescence, The Bear και The Pitt από 13 υποψηφιότητες.

Όπως αναφέρει το Hollywood Reporter, το The Studio ισοφάρισε το ρεκόρ των περισσότερων υποψηφιοτήτων μέσα σε μία χρονιά για κωμική σειρά (το οποίο κατείχε το The Bear από το 2024). Θα διεκδικήσει το βραβείο Καλύτερης Κωμικής Σειράς απέναντι στα Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, Shrinking και What We Do in the Shadows.

Μεταξύ των αξιοσημείωτων υποψηφίων στην υποκριτική: η σταρ του Matlock Kathy Bates έγινε η γηραιότερη υποψήφια για Α’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο σε Δραματική Σειρά, στα 77 της χρόνια, ενώ ο Owen Cooper, 15 ετών και πρωταγωνιστής του Adolescence, είναι πλέον ο νεότερος υποψήφιος όλων των εποχών για Β’ Ανδρικό Ρόλο σε Μίνι Σειρά ή Τηλεταινία.

Δύο σκηνοθέτες, οι Martin Scorsese και Ron Howard, απέσπασαν για πρώτη φορά στην καριέρα τους υποψηφιότητα για Emmy στην υποκριτική, χάρη στις guest εμφανίσεις τους στη σειρά The Studio. Ο Harrison Ford έλαβε επίσης την πρώτη του υποψηφιότητα για Emmy, στην κατηγορία Β’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε Κωμική Σειρά για τη συμμετοχή του στο Shrinking.
