Emmy Awards 2026: Το Widow’s Bay σάρωσε με 14 βραβεία

Το Widow’s Bay ήταν ο μεγάλος πρωταγωνιστής των Emmy Awards 2026, καθώς η νέα horror comedy σειρά του Apple TV+ κέρδισε συνολικά 14 βραβεία, σε σύνολο 19 υποψηφιοτήτων. Οι διακρίσεις προέκυψαν από την τελετή των Primetime Emmy Awards της Δευτέρας και τα Creative Arts Awards της προηγούμενης εβδομάδας.

Η σειρά πήρε το βραβείο Καλύτερης Κωμικής Σειράς, ενώ ο Matthew Rhys κέρδισε το βραβείο Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε κωμωδία. Ο ηθοποιός έγραψε μάλιστα ιστορία, καθώς έγινε διπλός νικητής την ίδια βραδιά, έχοντας κερδίσει και στην κατηγορία limited series για το The Beast in Me.

Τα υπόλοιπα σημαντικά βραβεία του Widow’s Bay πήγαν στους Kate O’Flynn και Stephen Root για τους δεύτερους ρόλους, ενώ ο δημιουργός Katie Dippold κέρδισε για το σενάριο και ο Hiro Murai για τη σκηνοθεσία.

Ακολούθησε το ιατρικό δράμα του HBO The Pitt, το οποίο απέσπασε επτά βραβεία από τις συνολικά 25 υποψηφιότητές του, τις περισσότερες από οποιαδήποτε άλλη σειρά φέτος.

Το The Pitt κέρδισε για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη χρονιά το βραβείο Καλύτερης Δραματικής Σειράς, ενώ ο Noah Wyle πήρε ξανά το Emmy Α’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου σε δράμα. Η σειρά σχεδόν διπλασίασε τις 13 υποψηφιότητες που είχε συγκεντρώσει πέρυσι.

Έξι βραβεία πήρε το νέο δράμα του Apple Pluribus, ανάμεσά τους εκείνα για το σενάριο του δημιουργού Vince Gilligan και για την Α’ Γυναικεία Ερμηνεία της Rhea Seehorn. Η ηθοποιός κατάφερε έτσι να κερδίσει επιτέλους ένα Emmy, μετά την πλήρη απουσία της από τους νικητές σε ολόκληρη την περίοδο του Better Call Saul.

Στην κατηγορία των limited series, το DTF St. Louis ξεχώρισε επίσης με επτά βραβεία. Μεταξύ άλλων, κέρδισαν οι David Harbour και Linda Cardellini στους δεύτερους ρόλους, ενώ ο δημιουργός Steven Conrad πήρε τα βραβεία σκηνοθεσίας και σεναρίου.

Από τα υπόλοιπα βραβεία της βραδιάς ξεχώρισαν η Allison Janney του The Diplomat για Β’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο σε δραματική σειρά, η Sally Field για Α’ Γυναικείο Ρόλο σε limited series ή τηλεταινία με το Remarkably Bright Creatures και ο Tom Pelphrey του Task για Β’ Ανδρικό Ρόλο σε δραματική σειρά.
