Για δεύτερη συνεχόμενη χρονιά το βραβείο Emmy για την καλύτερη δραματική σειρά πήγε στο Game of Thornes που πήρε επίσης αλλά δύο βραβεία για καλύτερη σκηνοθεσία και καλύτερο επεισόδιο δραματικής σειράς (για το Battle of The Bastards).
Έτσι το μεγαθήριο του HBO έγινε η σειρά με τα περισσότερα βραβεία στην ιστορία του θεσμού. Μεγάλη επιτυχία και για το The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story που σάρωσε στις κατηγορίες μίνι σειράς.
Το βραβείο πρώτου ανδρικού ρόλου σε δραματική σειρά πήγε στον Rami Malek που ήταν υποψήφιος για την πρώτη σεζόν του Mr Robot ενώ η δικαίωση ήρθε επιτέλους για την Tatiana Maslany στην κατηγορία των γυναικών με τη βράβευση της για τις πολλαπλές της ερμηνείες στο Orphan Black.
