Emmy: Οι μάχες των δικτύων και η έκπληξη του Disney Plus
To απόγευμα της Τρίτης ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες για τα φετινά βραβεία Emmy, με πάρα πολλές εκπλήξεις σε μια κούρσα που δεν έχει τα τεράστια φαβορί του παρελθόντος. Στη μάχη των δικτύων το HBO μαζί με το HBO Max είχαν τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες με 130, αφήνοντας οριακά πίσω το Netflix που είχε 129.
Εξαιρετικά τα πήγε το Disney Plus που είχε 71 υποψηφιότητες ένα από τα ανοιχτά κανάλια το NBC βρέθηκε στην πρώτη θέση με 46 υποψηφιότητες.
Όσο για τις σειρές, το Crown μοιράστηκε την πρώτη θέση με το Mandalorian, με τις δύο σειρές να έχουν από 245 υποψηφιότητες ενώ τη μεγάλη έκπληξη έκανε το Wandavision που ακολούθησε με 23. Συνολικά 37 σειρές και εκπομπές είχαν πάνω από 5 υποψηφιότητες για την τελετή που θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 13 Σεπτεμβρίου.
