Σε ηλικία 77 ετών έφυγε από τη ζωή το βράδυ της Κυριακής ο George Romero, σκορπίζοντας θλίψη στον χώρο του κινηματογράφου και ειδικότερα στους φαν των ταινιών τρόμου.

Ο δημιουργός της Νύχτας των Ζωντανών Νεκρών, άφησε ανεξίτηλο το στίγμα του στον χώρο και όπως είναι λογικό οι συνάδελφοί του αλλά και μεγάλες μορφές στο χώρο του τρόμου τον αποχαιρέτησαν μέσω των Social Media.
