Πέθανε ο Wayne Static των Static-X

Την τελευταία του πνοή σε ηλικία 48 ετών άφησε ο Wayne Static, ο frontman των Static-X που γνώρισαν μεγάλη επιτυχία στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 90 και στα χρόνια που ακολούθησαν.

Ενώ δεν έχουν γίνει ακόμα γνωστές περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες, οι πρώτες πληροφορίες εκαναν λόγο για υπερβολική δόση ναρκωτικών.

Με το στυλ τους να διαμορφώνεται από το nu metal, το industrial metal και το Groove, οι Static-X κυκλοφόρησαν έξι άλμπουμ από το 1999 έως και το 2009 με το ντεμπούτο τους Wisconsin Death Trip να γίνεται πλατινένιο.

Μόλις έγινε γνωστή η είδηση του θανάτου του, πολλά μέλη της rock και metal σκηνής έγραψαν λόγια αποχαιρετισμού…
