Daron Malakian stated in an interview (Rolling Stone) that this is the album he recorded on his own back in 2012, but never had the chance to release due to System of a Down’s reactivation.
The album is set to include songs he played live on the tour with Deftones six years ago (Guns are Loaded, Dictator and Fuck and Kill among others), but there’s another song that will be on the album and is definitely a strange (but rather good choice).

Scars On Broadway played an instrumental cover of the song back in 2010 and it is confirmed that this song will be a part of the Dictator album.
